The last few photo trips have been ones with easy access to the fells, namely a short stroll from Hardknott and Wrynose Passes onto the hills. Hardknott is a short 20mins walk from the top of the pass and offers great views towards the Scafells and fells around the upper Eskdale watershed.
From Wrynose it is a gentle stroll up to Pike o Blisco, there are prominent views into Langdale and towards the Coniston fells when utilising the late evening light.

Mountains and Fells

I've been concentrating on some images I have had in mind of the fells around the head of the Wasdale valley. Spring evenings just after the clocks went forward have provided some great opportunities to realise some of the images that I have wanted to capture.

This winter I have enjoyed short trips to the Duddon Valley, Coniston and the surrounding areas. These areas are close to home which make them convenient but also gives me opportunity to take more time to explore the landscape that is on my doorstep. Please take a look at the Latest Photos section.
